Gmail – Attachment Failed

Are you on the same ship with me ? The new Gmail multiple attachment features was great. But some users will have this “Attachment Failed” error while uploading. Having the latest Flash and Browser wont help. After many researches and I found some solutions to fix this issue. It is relating to the encryption on HTTPS. All you have to do is turn on HTTPS in the Gmail settings – General. Or you can just type https://www.gmail.com while accessing to your Gmail.

The other way to do it is just disable the advance attachment features in the Gmail setting. Which is not a good option as we all like to use the latest features.

    PRINT SPOOLER is turn off–(Services)
One fix:I also ran into this problem.

    Go to System Properties>Advanced
    Select Performance>Settings
    Select Data Execution Prevention
Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select
    Click Add
Paste this in to the file name box of the window that opens:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe
    Select Open
Select OK when you receive the warning
    Select Apply

You can Attached files in your email again
